.The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 29th class in 2017, the Foundation has provided over 5,850 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $63 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.

The Gates Scholarship is a highly selective, full scholarship for exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority, high school seniors. Starting in 2018, the scholarship will be awarded to 300 top student leaders each year with the intent of promoting their academic excellence through college graduation, and providing them the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Fall 2017 is September 29, 2017 Spring 2018 is December 15, 2017 Summer 2018 is March 30, 2018 Trade Five Scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors entering a TCSG institution in a field of study leading to a high demand career in the skilled trades. These scholarships are made available by a collaborative effort of Trade Five, and the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). Trade Five Scholarships can be used to cover tuition, requisite fees and materials. Eligibility Requirements: In order to qualify for a scholarship provided through the Trade Five Foundation, an applicant must: 1. be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the state of Georgia; 2. be a graduating 2017 high school senior from a Georgia high school; 3. be admitted to or enrolled in a TCSG institution at the time of funding award in one of the following program areas that prepare the student for a career identified through the Governor’s High Demand Career Initiative and that falls within one of the Trade Five industries (manufacturing, telecommunications, energy, logistics, film or construction); 4. plan to enroll in a TCSG institution no later than Summer 2017; 5. demonstrate in an essay (500 words or less) how this scholarship will benefit the applicant and his/her future educational plans; 6. include a letter of recommendation from a high school instructor, counselor, administrator, or Trade Five industry partner; 7. provide a copy of the TCSG acceptance letter or class schedule; and, 8. be registered in the Trade Five website database, 9. include all required documentation must be included at the time of submission. Deadlines: Scholarships will be awarded three times per year in spring, summer and fall. The deadlines for applications are as follows: September 29 (fall), December 15 (spring), March 30 (summer). The Siemens Foundation established the Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology in 1999. The Competition is the nation’s premier science research competition for high school students and seeks to promote excellence by encouraging students to undertake individual or team research projects. It fosters intensive research that improves students' understanding of the value of scientific study and informs their consideration of future careers in these disciplines. Scholarships for winning projects range from $1,000 to $100,000.

The Greenhouse Scholars scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors planning to attend a four-year accredited academic institution. Applicant must demonstrate financial need (annual household income no greater than $70,000) and have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and a legal resident of Colorado, Georgia, Illinois or North Carolina.

Entering its 19th year, the Youth Awards honor Latino high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community and for their focus in various categories including: Business & Entrepreneurship, Community Service, Education, Healthcare & Science, Media & Entertainment, Science, Technology, and Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM)
Three awards for each student category are given in each of the different regions across the country.
