Brooke Hailey Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: Feb. 28
This scholarship is intended for students to demonstrate a commitment to the field of mass communications. Funds are applied to tuition expenses. Students must have a 3.25 GPA. Learn more

 
Gary Moore Great Plan Scholarship
Deadline: Feb.1 
The purpose of this scholarship is to facilitate outstanding high school seniors in need of financial assistance so that they may experience the educational opportunities offered by the Oklahoma City University College of Arts and Sciences. Graduating seniors in the upper 10% of their graduating class from an accredited Oklahoma high school, ACT ≥ 30, a non-smoker, and plans to pursue a major within the OKCU College of Arts and Sciences are eligible to apply. Mary Ellen & George R. Randall Endowed Great Plan Scholarship
Deadline: Feb. 1
This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who plans to study pre-medicine or science at OKCU. It is a four-year scholarship covering tuition, basic room and board, and basic fees. Interviews with selected applicants will be scheduled during the month of February and notifications will be made by the end of February.

Frank G. Brooks Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: Feb. 1
This scholarship is a competitive, full-tuition scholarship awarded to an outstanding freshman student who chooses to study biology at OKCU. Interviews with selected applicants will be scheduled during the month of February and notifications will be made by the end of February.

Clara Luper Scholarship
Deadline: Feb. 1
This scholarship program honors the legacy of Oklahoma City civil rights leader Clara Luper by providing a private college education to deserving students from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds who demonstrate financial need.

OCULeads: The President's Leadership Class
Deadline: Feb. 1
The OCULeads scholarship is available to first-time freshmen immediately graduating from high school who show strong leadership skills. Students must submit an essay describing a past leadership project, have a minimum 3.25 GPA and a 24 ACT or 1160 SAT.

Dance and Entertainment Leads
Deadline: Feb. 1
Dance and Entertainment LEADS is a scholarship program to recognize outstanding dance and entertainment majors who are first-time freshmen and are immediately graduating from high school. Students selected for this program receive a scholarship for their freshman year, participate in personalized arts management leadership workshops, and are assigned leadership roles in dance and entertainment productions. Applicants must be high school seniors and have at least a 24 ACT and 3.25 or higher GPA. Link to application

Better Business Bureau (Center for Character Ethics)  Scholarships

Center for Character Ethics is proud to announce the call for entries for our 2017 Student of Integrity Scholarships. This year we will be presenting seven scholarships, two specific for technical colleges.Scholarship amounts range from $1,000 to $3,500 (to be determined).

Students must attend an accredited high school in one of the following counties: Banks, Barrow, Bartow, Carroll, Cherokee, Clarke, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, Dawson, DeKalb, Douglas, Elbert, Fayette, Forsyth, Franklin, Fulton, Gwinnett, Habersham, Hall, Haralson, Hart, Henry, Jackson, Lumpkin, Madison, Morgan, Newton, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Paulding, Pickens, Pike, Polk, Rabun, Rockdale, Spalding, Stephens, Towns, Union, Walton and White Counties.

We are currently accepting entries for our Student of Integrity Scholarship program. The deadline for entries will be February 17, 2017.

Clayton State Presidential Scholarship

The deadline for the Clayton State University Presidential Scholarship is quickly approaching. Just as a reminder, the Presidential Scholarship, is the most prestigious scholarship offered by our university.
 
Presidential Scholars receive:

An annual university grant of $3,000 (an approximate value of $12,000)

University housing for 4 years

A bookstore award of $250.00
 

As a Presidential Scholar the students will:

Actively participate in the University’s Honors Program

Perform 30 hours of community service per academic year

Live in university housing (Laker Hall for the first year and Laker Village thereafter).
 

 
The Presidential Scholarship recognizes students who have been truly exceptional, both academically and as student leaders, during their high school career. Clayton State seek to attract students who demonstrate the potential to make exceptionally strong contributions to the student body, both in the classroom and through extracurricular life on campus.  Our Presidential Scholars represent diverse intellectual, social, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. Candidates that apply for, and are awarded this renewable, merit-based scholarship will receive full tuition, student fees and housing for eight consecutive semesters. The Presidential Scholarship is the most selective scholarship award offered by Clayton State University.

Seton Hall's Sustainable Development Challenge

Seton Hall's Sustainable Development Challenge is designed to engage high school students in thinking about the needs of society and the planet. We encourage students to be an agent of change and embrace the United Nation's 17 Sustainable Development Goals of fighting inequality and injustice and tackling climate change by 2030.
Ten finalists will be selected in late March to present their ideas on Friday, April 21 at Seton Hall (in person or via skype) and winning prizes will be as follows:
1st Place Winner: $2,500 cash prize, plus a $10,000 scholarship to attend Seton Hall University ($2,500 annually).
2nd Place Winner: $1,000 cash prize, plus a $6,000 scholarship to attend Seton Hall University ($1,500 annually).
All other Finalists will receive a $4,000 scholarship to attend Seton Hall University ($1,000 annually).

How to Enter
To enter students must submit a 300-500 word statement addressing their thoughts and ideas about how they can be part of the solution and raise awareness or effect change related to one of the UN goals.

​The Kathleen C. Spicer Scholarship

​The Kathleen C. Spicer Scholarship Fund was established in a Trust created under the Will of Kathleen C. Spicer, who practiced law in Cobb County during her lifetime. The Will directs that the income from the trust shall be used to award annual scholarships to deserving students who are bona fide residents of the City of Marietta or Cobb County, Georgia, for the purpose of awarding them for scholastic attainments and promise and to enable or assist them to attend accredited colleges, junior colleges and universities. Said funds shall be used for the purpose of enabling or assisting such individuals to pursue courses of study leading to baccalaureate degrees only. 

Applications must be received no later than April 15th.
All applicants will be notified in writing of the Advisory Committee’s decision by July 1st.

Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association Scholarship

The 2017 AAPA Scholarship Competition is Now Open!
Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association is pleased to announce that its High School Scholarship applications are now on line, in a fillable form, at:
www.atlantapanhellenic.org/scholarships

Please note, the applications, including recommendation forms, are now online and secure. 
The deadline is MARCH 15, 2017.
 
There are Six (6) High School Senior Scholarships at $1,500 each that will be awarded to high school senior women who are attending a four year university that has Greek affiliations with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) Winners are not required to join a sorority, just attend a school where they are on campus. It is the AAPA's way of introducing NPC and sororities to high school seniors.
 
Winners will be recognized at the Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association Spring Scholarship Luncheon on
​Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Cherokee Town Club, and/or their respective high school senior awards event.

J. Milton Lewis Elementary PTSA Scholarship

The J. Milton Lewis Elementary PTSA Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that we will be awarding three (3) $500.00 scholarships this year.  We will be awarding these scholarships to deserving seniors who attended Lewis Elementary School for at least three (3) years.
Attached are copies of the Lewis 2017 scholarship package. 

Three scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each will be awarded on March 2, 2017 at the Lewis Elementary PTSA meeting at 6:45 PM.  The winners’ attendance is requested at this event.  All entries must be postmarked no later than February 10, 2017.
